I’m so excited to share that Songs of Snow has been selected as a 2025 IBPA Book Award Finalist! It’s in the top three for the Fiction: Science Fiction and Fantasy category, and I’ll find out at an IBPA dinner in St. Paul, MN next month whether it receives the gold medal or one of the two silver medals!

IBPA (the Independent Book Publishers Association) is the largest publishing trade association in the United States, and is very well-respected in the indie (self-publishing and small press) community. Previously known as the Benjamin Franklin Award, it was rebranded a few years ago to the IBPA Book Award, and has been around since 1985. I’m so honored and thrilled to hear about this, and look forward to celebrating next month!
See the full list of this year’s finalists here!
And it just so happens that Songs of Snow eBooks are actually free today and tomorrow! Grab a copy of this award-winning book for free before it goes back up to full price on Sunday!

Stay tuned for a sale on We Survivors and a free promotion for The Bloody Key later this month as well, to celebrate #IndieApril. It’s the best time of the year to read self-published or small press books!
Until next time, happy reading!
