It’s no secret that one of my biggest accomplishments this year was publishing my Gothic Bluebeard retelling, The Bloody Key! Since I never got around to doing a launch blog post, here’s the beautiful cover again…
If you’ve been following me on Instagram or Twitter, you’ve probably noticed a lot of fun, The Bloody Key-related updates! I wanted to make sure I shared everything here as well, since we are now less than a month from launch!
First, I’d like to share the beautiful cover for The Bloody Key: A Bluebeard Retelling! Elaine Ho (Art of Elaine Ho) did an incredible job on the illustration, bringing the girls and the atmosphere of their flight from the castle to life. The dresses especially are so detailed and stunning–I’m in love! Then Mallory Rock (Rock Solid Book Design) put on the final touches to make it the perfect Gothic cover!
Wow, I cannot believe it has been almost two years since I wrote a blog post for this site! If you’ve been following me on Twitter or Instagram, you know that I’ve been active and writing during that time, but just didn’t have much to share. Until now!
I’m excited to share with you all that my second novel, The Bloody Key: A Bluebeard Retelling, will be published on April 25, 2023!
I can hardly believe it, but my first novel, We Survivors, has been out in the world one year today! To celebrate the anniversary, I commissioned character art of Nadia. It was so fun working with Georgina Donnelly to bring her to life, and I’m excited to share the artwork with you all!
I also wanted to share a few details about this past year and my future plans for the book and the world of We Survivors!
