I’ve given away 168 copies already and climbing, and it will be very cool if I can get that orange bestseller flag before the promo is done, so share with all your reader friends too!
I also wanted to remind everyone that Indie April is a great time to check out new indie authors or books, and to lend extra support to ones you already know and love! As I tweeted last year, here are 8 ways to support indie authors that take < 8 seconds:
- Follow author on social media
- RT their pinned tweet or share their insta post to your story
- Like good reviews on Goodreads & Amazon
- Rate books you’ve read
- Write a quick review
- Subscribe to their newsletter
- Download free/sale books
- Recommend their book to a friend
Reviews especially are worth their weight in gold to indie authors! My personal goal for this month is to increase the number of reviews The Bloody Key has on Amazon, Goodreads, and Barnes & Noble! If you have read it, I would greatly appreciate you leaving a rating and review on one of those platforms. If you’ve already reviewed, I’m incredibly grateful, and you could consider sharing the review you already wrote on a second platform!
